Creativity and Institutions was a research project and exhibition organised by Timothy Emlyn Jones as part of the Free International University section of Documenta, 1977. Educational institutions in the UK – ranging from primary schools, universities, art schools, to military training insitutions were invited to demonstrate how they promoted creativity, on three A1 panels. Funded by Joseph Beuys, the project – including a talk and discussion led by Timothy Emlyn Jones – was part of the FIU programme of exhibitions and projects.
